Архива Not Started


Архива is installed as a Windows service. Try restarting the Архива server from the Windows Service applet.

 

If the server cannot start, refer to Server Won't Start

 

Corrupted Setup

 

It is sometimes the case that important program files are missing or corrupted due to a failed installation or corrupted hard disk.

To resolve:
 

  1. Disable auto start on the Архива Windows Service
  2. Stop the Архива Server
  3. Download the latest version of Архива
  4. Reboot the computer
  5. Login to Windows and Re-Run the Архива Setup (over your existing installation)

 

Архива Started, But GUI Is Not Responsive

 

If the server starts, but the user interface is not responsive, the following resolutions apply:

 

  1. Check that the 8090 port is not already occupied when the server starts up.
  2. Ensure that the server has sufficient resources allocated. Refer to minimum requirements and  Out of Memory for further instruction.
  3. It may be a basic network connectivity issue (assuming you're connecting to the Архива GUI over a network). Try connecting to the Архива GUI directly from the same server.
  4. For new installs, try deleting Архива's program directories. Refer to File System Layout for an outline of directories that ought be removed.
